I've had my eye on Herb Lester Associates' maps for quite a while and I finally had an excuse to buy some; Max and I are headed to France next week for his spring break! Since I've already been to Paris and he is perfectly fine missing a museum or two, I'm looking forward to having some time to just wander through neighborhoods, do some shopping, and maybe (definitely) find the best chocolate croissant in Paris.

Herb Lester maps each have a specific focus. This first one is called "Paris Small Shops". It was written by Anne Ditmeyer, an expat in Paris, and I actually took her map design class on Skillshare! I can't wait to follow her guide to stationary and art supply stores and maybe even a taxidermy?!

This second map is "Paris for Pleasure-Seekers" which is full of fancy and beautiful places. These might be out of my price range but I love learning about them and who knows, they might give me some beautiful window shopping opportunities!
The only problem with these maps is that they feel too beautiful to carry around the city. We'll see if I'm brave enough to take them out, or if I'll just take notes and leave them at home!
